"Hi!" is the only thing my dad asked me to say on this page. So, I'm saying it! Hi! My dad's nickname is Dick, and that's what everyone calls him. However, important business people call him Richard, and friends and family members either call him Dickie (The Dahmens), Sweetie (My Mom), or just dad (Willy, John, Annie and ME).

My dad is a great pancake and waffle maker! He makes pancakes for my family every Sunday. Sometimes, though, he makes waffles instead. My dad used to work for Trinity Investment Management Corporation, an affiliate of OppenheimerFunds. Before that, he worked for Data General, a computer company, which is now owned by EMC².

My dad loves to play golf, and often times he plays with one of our friends, such as Lloyd Dahmen, Gian Luca Fiori, or Drew Peck.

Every year, as you might know by now, we go to Taconnet. My dad has been there nearly every year of his life! My dad's parents actually started the tradition of going to Taconnet in my family.

My dad is Annie and John's dad, but my mom is their stepmother. Annie and John are the kids of my dad and Melinda, who later got divorced. Eventually, my mom and dad had Willy and me. Melinda lives very nearby, and Willy and I call her M.
