Elizabeth is my Mom. Her nickname is Lisa, and none of her friends ever call her anything else. Of course, I don't call her Lisa, I call her Mom, but that's a different story, because I'm her son!

My mom met my dad at The Boston Company. She was a vice president. She worked there almost ten years, but then retired when pregnant with me.

My mom really loves her family. I know that because she told me! I love her too! She's very nice, funny, caring, etc. blaablaablaa! Speaking of blaaing, my mom's a master of it! She takes FOREVER to say good-bye! She also blabs a ton while she's on the phone (though she denies it)!

My mom used to work at Transition House, a homeless shelter in Cambridge. She ran a playgroup for the kids. Now she works at a full-time day care center for homeless kids run by Horizons for Homeless Children. She helps take care of the 1-year-olds every Thursday. If you have any kid toys (or kids!) that you're sick of, you can give them to her and she'll give them to Horizons.

My mom is part of a book group, which meets every month or so and picks a book to read. Then the next time they meet they talk about that book, then pick a new book. Someday my mom would like to be a writer.

My mom loves working with kids at my school. Maybe she'll be a teacher someday too! Currently, she's a trustee at Beaver Country Day School, the school my brother and I both go to.

Here's a photo of my mom to the right.
