The Number Game
Can you beat three-time champion Dan Lyne?

Who doesn't love numbers? Numbers are fun. The bigger the number, the more fun it is. My favorite page in the World Almanac is the table of large numbers. (Almanac? Who reads the Almanac anymore?)

The Rules

It's a whole new game now, folks! I used to simply write an insanely large number -- say, 100,000,060,442,113,006 -- and you would have to tell me what number it is (you know, spell it out). Well, now it's not that simple.

From now on, the question could be anything. It could still be "spell out this number," or it might be "write out 1 googleplex," or it might be something more like the question below! In fact, for now it is more like the question below, because it is the question below! Hehe... good luck!

Current Question

Question: What would the most recent number be called according to the European system?
Elaboration: In Europe, a different system is used for keeping track of numbers. For example, a billion in the U.S. is a milliard or a thousand million in Europe. It won't be like that forever, though -- they are slowly but surely converting to our system. Heh. Go America. :)

Every time someone gets the question right, the question changes. So, what are you waiting for? Get going!!!
