Lots of millions worldwide
Almost as many millions domestic
Wahoo! Episode III is coming, and it's going to be
absolutely amazing. Here's what you can look forward to.
New Planets
Episode III is going to feature lots of planets and lots
of action. We'll be getting our first look ever at the Wookiee homeworld of
Kashyyyk, as well as a glimpse of Alderaan, which was seen in Episode IV only
long enough to blow it up. Thanks, Wilhuff. A perfectly good planet, ruined. Oh
well.
There will also be several other new planets, from Utapau,
a planet covered in giant sinkholes that house whole cities, to Mustafar,
lava-planet home to the climactic final duel between Obi-Wan and Anakin.
A Great Big Space Battle
If there's one thing the prequels need most, I'd say it's
some good space action. Sure, there was a bit in Episode I, and yes there was an
asteroid chase in Episode II, but nothing giant. Nothing that could even compare
to the Battle of Yavin.
Well, Episode III will answer my wishes in a grand
fashion: the biggest Star Wars space battle ever -- on Coruscant! Yippee!!!
General Grievous
As if there weren't enough villians for Episode III
already (Count Dooku, Darth Sidious, Darth Vader, Nute Gunray, and so on), a new
one has been added to the roster: the awesome General Grievous, leader of the
droid armies. Grievous can handle lightsabers in his hands and feet,
and is already making quite a name for himself in the expanded universe Clone
Wars material.
(As if he needed them, Grievous also has some very cool IG
100 MagnaGuard bodyguards.)
Vader
In Episode III we will at last see the full transformation
from noble Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker to evil Dark Lord of the Sith Darth
Vader. The sneak peak the teaser trailer gives us has me very exciting... I can't wait!!! :-)
Conclusion
Episode III is going to be absolutely amazing. Go buy some
tickets now.
